Alice Loy, PhD, Director of Programs
Alice is the Co-founder of GCCE and currently serves as Director of Programs. Her driving passion is applying creative entrepreneurship to social and cultural challenges and opportunities. Alice believes an entrepreneurial spirit exists in all communities and can be leveraged to address poverty, injustice, and self-determination. Alice has lived and worked in Europe, Mexico, Central America, and Native America, researching cultural industry development and enterprise creation. Through mentoring and tapping into her vast and diverse network, Alice creates value for creative entrepreneurs entering new markets and scaling their ventures.
Alice has designed and taught university level courses ranging from Social Entrepreneurship to Environmental Ethics. Alice holds a PhD in Strategic Communication and Entrepreneurship and an MBA. Combining sophisticated analytical tools and research to program development, Alice has led the creation of award-winning programs in social entrepreneurship, digital inclusion, and cultural entrepreneurship.
