OBJECTIVES

The postgraduate course contemporary photography speeches, through seminars in which invited artists will analyse and discuss their works and artistic practices, resonances will be found in the main discourses of contemporary photographic production. At the same time, seminars will be held for reflection and historical and theoretical contextualization of these discourses, allowing for the foundation and framing of the authorial work to be developed by the students. Each guest artist will select a range of projects to guide throughout the year, duly supported by a technical module that accompanies the various stages, from capture in multiple formats, to analogue and digital laboratory production. The elaborated projects will be the object of a final exhibition.

The tuition fee for full-time students is set annually by the General Council of the Universidade de Lisboa, which may, under the International Student Statute, set differentiated values for international students.

Tuition fees can be paid in instalments, to be defined by the Management Council of the Faculdade de Belas-Artes.
