OPEN CALL – SUMMER SCHOOL 2023 | ASSOCIAÇÃO CULTIVAMOS CULTURA

The Protocol established between the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and the Cultivamos Cultura Association allows the participation of two students, with the support of the Faculty, in the first two weeks of the Summer School event promoted by this Association.
This collaboration takes place within the framework of the Summer School Cultivamos Cultura Association, in collaboration with Ectopia, with the aim of exploring the creative relationships between art, science, technology and territory, promoting: the acquisition by artists and students of art of theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of biology and environmental sciences, the creation of ties with the community and the local environment (Odemira) and the development of an artistic project in the context of a collaborative environment.
The two students will be selected by an FBAUL jury, through the applications made through this link, until the 20th of June.
PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS UNDER THE PROTOCOL:
1. The selected students will be granted the possibility, in addition of participating for one week in the Cultivamos Cultura Summer School, to extend their participation for another week, through the granting of a scholarship for this purpose by FBAUL in the amount of 150,00€ (one hundred and fifty euros), with the remaining cost to be covered by the students.
2. Students who enroll for the second week at the Cultivamos Cultura Summer School, must produce a piece for the exhibition to be held within the scope of the event.
3. In return for their participation, students will assist in the reception of foreign participants at the beginning and during the Summer School.
4. The students will also participate in the organization of the space where the practical activities will take place.
5. The students will participate in research, creation and exhibition activities organized within the Cultivamos Cultura Summer School.
