In this seminar session, we invite Francesca to talk about anthropology and art, art and anthropology research practice, and the collaborative research developed with Helena Elias, post-doc artistic researcher and professor in Vicarte_Fba-UL. Francesca De Luca, anthropologist and PhD candidate at the ICS – University of Lisbon, member of Ebano Collective. She has collaborated in ethnographic-based artistic projects since 2006 (Rifrazioni Contemporary Art Festival, Cercle Collective), pursuing research methodologies at the crossroad between anthropology and art. In 2017, she co-organized the first Colleex# international workshop, a platform and collaboratory for ethnographic experimentation. Helena Elias is an artist and postdoc researcher at FBA. As part of an Erasmus generation, she attended several Faculties of Fine Arts, obtaining academic degrees in different systems of artistic education (1999,2000,2007). Artistic practice, teaching, research are her main activities.
