Sessão 2 — Nicholas Mandelbaum:
The journey of learning design is starting
Many professions require to be constantly learning, but nothing beats the intensity involved in being a designer today. Nicholas explores the different facets of learning that drive designers to constantly improve and develop new skills. He places the learning experience at the center of the designer’s journey, and gives away tools and ideas to keep exploring new paths.
Nicholas Mandelbaum is that guy with the red beard and a french accent, who designs for a living. He started as a photographer, but then moved to design and build apps for photographers at a time when there was no Dropbox and barely no Facebook. He’s a “self-taught” designer, caring for user experience, branding and visual aspect of digital products. He founded two startups and was the creative director of Imaginary Cloud in Lisbon for the last two years. He’s now working as an independent designer and a startup coach.
